BUSINESS is booming at air filtration specialists McLeod Russel in Burnley following an intensive phase of investment in technology and staff.
Employment numbers at the company are up by 35 per cent to help cope with the increased workload that has followed the £750,000 development programme.
Operations director Malcolm Taylor said McLeod Russel, whose brands include Interfilta, Vokes and Luwa, was now able to offer competitive lead times.
He said the Burnley operation was now achieving more than 80 per cent 'on time in full' deliveries due to a series of continuous improvement programmes.
"We are experiencing growth both in the UK and in our targeted export marketplaces, providing us with a strong order book going forward," he said. "Since the implementation of our £750,000 initiative to advance production techniques and procedures, our operation has now stabilised and we are receiving positive feedback from our customer base."
