HOUSEHOLDERS in Sabden are decking their windows in red, white and blue as part of the village's Golden Jubilee celebrations.
The village is holding a competition for the best dressed window with a Golden Jubilee theme.
Organiser Jacqui Ashton, of the Sabden Holme Committee, said: "Some householders have already decorated their windows and we are looking for more to take part. We want to make our village the brightest and the best for the Golden Jubilee."
There is a £1 entry fee for the contest and prizes are up for grabs by the best dressed window. Sabden is also hosting a teddy bears picnic and family barbecue and disco as part of the celebrations, on June 1.
