TEENAGERS in Pendle are being given a chance to test their skills as a potential actor or popstar this summer.
Pendle Leisure Trust is inviting 11 to 18-year-olds in the Nelson area to take part in MAD 2K2 which is a week of free workshops covering many aspects of music, art and drama.
Sara Lowes, scheme co-ordinator said: "MAD 2K2 is aiming to give children an opportunity to express themselves and their generation through music and other creative arts. It will hopefully inspire them for their future"
The workshops will be at Nelson Civic Theatre, in Stanley Street, on Monday, August 5 to Friday, August 9, between 9.30am and 4pm. Call 01282 661234.
