KYLE Hogg will miss Lancashire's Frizzell County Championship match against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl in Southampton today.
Hogg has been selected for the England U19's squad to play against India at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff from Saturday July 27-30.
Hogg, fresh from his Norwich Union League career best 4-20 in the fixture against Hampshire Hawks on Tuesday, has also been shortlisted for the ECB's trip to the National Academy in Adelaide this winter.
Further to Lancashire's last Championship fixture against Yorkshire, there are no other changes to the squad and no new injury worries.
And the Red Rose club are hoping to sign India's off-spinner Harbhajan Singh - the man known as the the Turbanator' - for next season.
The tall 22-year-old Sikh is a handy batsman and athletic fielder as well as one of the best off-spinners in world cricket.
Lancashire have made him their number one target to partner Stuart Law assuming the counties return to two overseas players each next season.
But they are still waiting to hear whether the Indian authorities will release him to play a season in England.
