P LANCASTER'S architectural heritage and history will be the subject of three guided walks through Lancaster this summer.
Lancaster City Council has commissioned the local guides Catwalks to run the events on August 4, 11 and 18.
Anyone can come along for the walk starting at Lancaster Castle's John O'Gaunt gateway at 11am, and the events are free of charge.
Catwalks will also be running walks later in the year showing the history surrounding the river Lune.
These will also be free and begin at 2pm on outside Lancaster Maritime Museum on September 29 and October 12 and 19.
