SPECTATORS will have the chance to watch some of the Commonwealth Games events free of charge.
The marathons will take in a route through the heart of the City of Manchester on Sunday.
The women's race is at 8am while the men start half an hour later.
The race walking routes are adjacent to the Lowry Centre at Salford Quays.
The men's and women's 20K events will start at 2.20pm and 2pm respectively on Sunday while the men's 50K is on Tuesday at 10am.
The triathlons, also at Salford Quays, are on the following Sunday, August 4.
The women start at 8am and the men at 11am. For cycling enthusiasts, the Road Cycling and Mountain Biking events are at Rivington.
