FOR the first time in years I went to the dentist for a six monthly check up on Friday and didn't need any treatment.
I was thrilled to bits. It usually costs me a mint for crowns, fillings, root canal treatment etc. My head's worth a fortune.
However the delight was short lived. The same night I crunched on a pear drop -- cracking off a front white filling.
Sod's Law strikes again. That'll be another twenty odd quid towards my dentist's Tenerife villa fund. NHS prices, humbug!
