MORE than 80 pupils from Christ Church School in Colne will get together with parents, the Sunday School, Boys Brigade, Brownies and Rainbows and church members for their first combined Harvest Festival.
It will take place on Sunday at 10am and children of the day school will bring gifts of fruit and vegetables to be distributed to the elderly, sick and needy of Colne by the members and the school's form six.
The congregation and members of the school will also be invited to give contributions for the Harvest Help Appeal sponsored by the Bishop, which helps subsistence farming in Africa.
