CHURCH-goers took advantage of a dry day to walk around a cricket ground ten times -- and raise money for the church renovation fund.
More than 20 members of West End Methodist Church, Oswaldtwistle, supported the five-mile sponsored walk and boosted fund by some £200.
Steward Ivor Cooper said: "We have now raised around £4,500 which has allowed us to carry out all sorts of work on the church, including painting, a new path, clearing the gardens and buying new windows."
