A BURY man will be in the dock in a trial in which a host of celebrities including Kate Winslet and Roger Moore will appear as witnesses.

Larry Bore of Campbell Close, Walshaw, is to stand trial at Warwick Crown Court accused of breaching the Trades Description Act and obtaining money by deception charges which he denies.

Solihull Council's trading standards officials launched the prosecution after a complaints from people attending a Hollywood memorabilia exhibition at the NEC near Birmingham alleging that signed pictures of the stars on sale for £140 each were forgeries,

The prosecuting team asked stars to attend court to give evidence and be cross-examined by the defence.

Helena Bonham Carter and Emma Thompson are also on the list of famous names expected to give evidence.

The case is expected to be heard early next year.
