LIGHT up a Life campaign offers a chance to mark the life of loved ones this Christmas while raising cash for the terminally ill.
This popular fund-raising event for the East Lancashire Hospice is running for the third time this year. Last year £5,000 was raised.
For a donation individuals can dedicate a light on Blackburn Cathedral Christmas tree to a friend or family member whose life they wish to recognise. The names of all those dedicated will be entered into the Tree of Life book.
The lights will be switched on at a special service in Blackburn Cathedral on Monday December 9 at 7.30 pm.
