POLICE are renewing their appeal for witnesses to an accident which left a cyclist with serious injuries.
Colin Brighty, 24, of Moorland Crescent, Whitworth, was in collision with a Proton car driven by Jack Renshaw, 76, also of Moorland Crescent, on Wednesday morning.
Colin sustained serious head injuries and was taken to Rochdale Infirmary, where he is said to be serious but stable.
