A CONKER crazy championships is being held in Waterfoot this weekend.
The challenge will take place at the Jolly Sailor Pub on Sunday, October 6 starting at 4pm.
Proceeds from a raffle and contestants entrance fees will go to The Lancashire Evening Telegraph Magic Eye Appeal, which aims to raise £200,000 for a state-of-the-art ultrasound endoscopic scanner.
The equipment will benefit the whole of East Lancashire by offering quicker and less traumatic diagnosis of stomach and oesophagus cancer.
Anybody who wants to take part should go to the pub on Sunday and put their name forward.
