PROSPECTIVE pupils and their parents attended Pleckgate High School's open evening this week.
After a welcome speech by the headteacher, Heather Jamieson, visitors toured the displays and activities organised by each subject department.
On special display was the new fitness suite, a gym facility available to year 10 and 11 pupils as a PE option and during breaks and lunchtime.
Also on show were the building plans for a new learning support block, which should be completed in time for next years' pupils.
A City Learning Centre with state of the art computer equipment is also being constructed, to which pupils will have access.
