A 30-YEAR-OLD man from Atherton suffered a foot injury after his motorbike was involved in a collision with a van.
He was riding his Suzuki towards St Helens Road along Atherleigh Way, Leigh, when he was in collision with the Transit van, which drove off without stopping.
The van had a glass-carrying frame on the side with green writing on the bonnet. Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident at 8am on Friday to contact Wigan Traffic Unit on 0161 856 7273.
The biker was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital.
