ROYAL British Legion long service awards were presented to Leigh branch stalwarts John Corbett and John Kelly by the RBL's West Lancashire welfare officer Graham Pierce.
At the presentation in Fazakerley RBL on Merseyside a certificate was also awarded to the Leigh branch for the second highest Poppy Day Appeal collection.
"It was only made possible by the generosity of the people of Leigh and committee and staff of Leigh Conservative Club who allow us to use their premises," said branch president Mr Corbett. (Photo: Jan Thomas)
