RESIDENTS from Brookfield Estate in Preston are teaming up to put on a colourful stage show.
Brookie 2003 is a show featuring youngsters from the estate's Space Place community centre.
Pam Cooper, of Brookfield United, said: "We have got people from five to 25 years old in the show. It's everything from drama to music, to MCs and DJs."
The show is designed to let the audience know about the positive side to living on the troubled estate. There is even a collection of video images of the area.
"A lot of the ideas have come from the young people. We have been doing a lot of work around crime and disorder, and there's a drama about drugs," explained Pam.
The production is being held at the Charter Theatre, Lancaster Road, Preston, on Friday, January 31. Tickets for the show cost from £3 to £15, on 258858.
