A TEENAGE girl was punched several times during an unprovoked attack in Holcombe Brook.
Now police are hunting the thug following the assault in Bolton Road West at 9.45pm last Wednesday (Jan 22).
The 17-year-old girl was out walking when she was approached from behind and punched several times in the head. She sustained bruising to her left eye and a cut to her scalp.
Her attacker is described as a man aged in his 20s, tall and wearing a woolly hat and dark clothing.
