RESIDENTS are urged to apply for grants of up to £15,000 to make a difference in their community.
UnLtd Millennium Awards are funded by a £100 million legacy from the National Lottery Millennium Commission.
UnLtd offers two types of grant: the first, from £500 to £5,000, will be made at the end of February, and applications are welcomed now. The second level ranges from £5,000 to £15,000, to be handed out in May and June.
The awards are made to adult individuals, not organisations, for projects which benefit people living in the locality.
For more information, log onto the UnLtd website at www.unltd.org.uk. This can be done at local libraries as well as from home, and specialist equipment for visually impaired users is available at Bury, Whitefield and Ramsbottom branches.
