STAFF at a Burnley school put their pupils through a difficult course to raise money for charity.
Children at St John's RC Junior School in Thames Avenue swung into action to raise money by completing an assault course yesterday.
After swinging on ropes and climbing over frames the children were treated to a session on a bouncy castle.
School secretary, Mrs Ryan, said: "They all really enjoyed themselves. It was a good day we will be able to use the money to give the them a few treats."
After sponsorship forms are completed and returned staff at St John's hope to use the money to pay for school outings, library books and a Christmas party.
