A MUM and daughter from Clitheroe have produced an innovative CD that is taking the tea-dance world by storm.
Gladys Sutcliffe, 53, and daughter Gaynor, 23 have joined forces to produce a CD of popular dance numbers featuring Gaynor's string quartet.
Former professional dancer Gladys has run the Sutcliffe Theatre School in St James's Street, Clitheroe, for 20 years.
Gaynor, a former pupil of Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, has just graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music.
Her ensemble, the Sutcliffe String Quartet, is currently in demand throughout the region and performed for Prince Charles during his visit to Ripon Cathedral last year.
Gladys said: "It certainly has an air of nostalgia and is a bit Wooster and Jeeves, if you like."
Four Beat Swings is available from Gladys Sutcliffe on 01200 425629, before going on general release in the spring.
