Honoury Canon James Armfield is in every sense of the word a gentleman.
That is probably why he isn't as well known to the general public as some of his contemporaries. The goodness he does in so many diverse ways is carried out quietly and without fuss.
I think only his wife and the Lord above knows his true worth and commitment. I agree it's high time honour was given where honour is due.
Come on Jimmy, stand up and be counted.
