Interested in making a practical contribution towards local animal welfare work?

Then why not join your local branch of the RSPCA? We are always interested to hear from anyone who would like to join our friendly team of staff and volunteers.

And there are lots of ways in which you can help.

At RSPCA Longview Animal Home, located on Division Lane, Blackpool, general help is needed including dog walking, general assistance and gardening maintenance, Please telephone Longview on 01253 763991 -- open Tuesday-Sun 11am-3.30pm (although dog walking extends these times.

Or you may like to help out in our charity shop on Talbot Road, Blackpool.

There are lots of jobs to choose from; from serving our customers; tidying displays to sorting and labelling. Why not call in for a chat, or tel 01253 294481 Mon-Sat 10am-4pm.

Perhaps you would like to join in on our programme of fund-raising activities. We have lots of events already organised for 2003, from open days, fairs, stalls, collection days and promotions.

Working as a volunteer means a great deal to us -- not only will you become a valued member of our team and friend, your expenses will be covered, and we will always be glad to support you in the way of references, if you are just 'passing through'.
