I WOULD like to propose that we have more building in Ramsbottom, more flats, more houses, more huge estates on every square inch of land available.
Why do people complain? What is the problem? They would be able to live in a brand new box on an avenue with a rural sounding name, like Badgers Retreat or Tower View.
And as for traffic congestion, well Bolton Road and Bridge Street are very quiet in the morning and at teatime and if it should become a problem they can ban all off-road vehicles (which never go "off-road" unless they mount the pavement).
