YOU'D think that the new Darwen health centre was being built on the top of Mount Everest the way Darwen people are going on.
I'm sure that the powers-that-be have already thought through the possibilities of developing the existing health centre, the old Social Services building, etc. and have probably found this isn't feasible.
As the mother of two young children, I, for one, would welcome a modern health centre with better facilities and more chance of seeing a doctor when you need one.
It seems that Blackburn with Darwen Council can't win -- Darwen people whinge when they don't spend money and whinge when they do.
I bet Blackburn people are fed up reading the letters from all the moaners of Darwen. Blackburn isn't that great either!
