AN 11-YEAR-OLD boy was recovering today after being hit by a car which failed to stop in Nelson.
Traffic police in Pendle have urged any witnesses to come forward after Kafil Aslam, of Rhoda Street, was hit by a car on Thursday in Brunswick Street, near Chapelhouse Road.
He was taken to Burnley General Hospital suffering bruising to his left hip.
The incident happened at 8.55am but the police have no description of the vehicle involved.
