AN inquest has been opened into the death of Jean Winder, 70, who was found dead at her home in Woodside Road, Huncoat, on February 8.
The inquest was told that it was believed Mrs Winder had died as a result of smoke inhalation as there had been a smouldering house fire at her home that burned itself out between February 4 and 5.
The hearing was adjourned until April 16.
