A MAN is being quizzed after three vehicles were written off by a stolen car. The incident happened in Dill Hall Lane, Church, after a stolen white Audi hit a parked Citroen Saxo, which in turn forced another Saxo to hit a Vauxhall Nova at 10.30am yesterday.
The white Audi then hit a lamp post before turning down Buckingham Grove. Nobody was in the three parked cars at the time. Police said a man, from the Church area, was arrested and held in Accrington police station for questioning.
Fire crews from Accrington had to close the road to deal with fuel running down the road.
