BUDDING popstars can sing for a whole lot more than their supper at Yates', Talbot Road, Blackpool as this year's Search for a Star begins.
An amazing £10,000 cash is being offered for the overall winner of this national contest involving 80 Yates' branches.
Two winners will go forward from Blackpool to a regional final and the winners of that could be in with a chance of the top national prize. This includes the cash stash plus a music contract with A&B Entertainments agency, time in a recording studio and a week in a five-star London Hotel with VIP treats worth £5000.
Blackpool's weekly heats start next Monday (February 17) and run until the branch final on March 24. To enter, simply turn up on a Monday night from 8pm, choose your song and prepare to wow your audience.
