PUPILS flew the flag for Leigh on a skiing holiday in Italy. The Bedford High School students impressed a Doncaster policeman staying at the same resort so much he sent a letter to head teacher Stephen Preston.
The officer, David Phillips, said they were polite, courteous and respectful, adding: "It was a pleasure to see them enjoying themselves and representing their school in such a positive way." Mr Preston said: "The students have lived up to the school's expectations."
