A BUS passenger was attacked by two thugs during a journey towards Fairfield General Hospital.
The man suffered cuts and bruising to his face as a result of the assault which was carried out on Friday evening (Feb 7).
One thug is described as a white male, 5ft 7ins, of medium build with short cropped blond hair. His accomplice is also a white male, 5ft 10 ins, also of medium build but with short cropped brown hair.
Detectives at Bury CID are investigating the assault and they can be contacted on 0161 856 8150 if anyone has information about the incident.
