TWO Lancaster singer-songwriters will stage a rare gig together at the city's Golden Lion on Saturday at 8.30pm.

Bronek Szerszynski and Steve Lewis were last seen together in local band Naked Mask.

After some short sets from Bronek with his new solo material at the Spotlight Club in Yorkshire House, this will be its first full-length performance.

Expect to hear influences from Scott Walker, Jacques Brel, Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake, with well-crafted lyrics underlain by intricate acoustic guitar playing.

Bronek will be supported by Steve Lewis, best known for his involvement in More Music in Morecambe and for being half of the Living Room improvising duo.

But this is something different - just voice and acoustic guitar.
