BEING Darwen-bred, I was disappointed to see (LET, February 22) a court report of an illegal immigrant who reportedly 'had been living in Blackburn' but whose address was given as Britten Street, Darwen.
There's not much hope for the campaigners to get the new M65 services renamed Darwen rather than Blackburn, or for those pushing for a greater identity for 'Darren' generally, if your newspaper doesn't know the difference.
