NEW Colne signings Matt Woods and Kristian Evans have given the Reds the lift they needed.
Both made their debuts in the 3-1 win over Holker Old Boys on Wednesday night, and Colne manager Dean Grice believes they played a pivotal role.
Matt was superb at centre half and his experience shone through," he said.
The other players at the back had better games as well, and I think that was probably down to Matt talking them through the game.
"And Kristian had an impressive debut. He looked very strong and was unlucky not to score from a corner."
Grice was delighted with a good all-round team performance, which resulted in their 10th win of the season.
"I was really pleased with the lads, they were absolutely fantastic," he said.
"Now we need to take that performance into tomorrow's game against Chadderton."
Grice hopes to name an unchanged side for the game at Holt House (kick-off 3pm).
