TELEVISION viewers across the country have been introduced to a brand new and very popular small screen star - and the new phenomenon that had everyone talking was very much a product from the heart of Lancashire.

The new star that is quite literally stole the show, in many cases from the Coronation Street and Emmerdale regulars, was in actual fact... a fire!

The award-winning range of Legend Fires appeared once again in the TV advertisement for Burnley-based retailer, Fireplace Warehouse..

Appearing right across the viewing schedule, with a number of guaranteed appearances in the middle of the nation's favourite 'prime-time' programmes, the advertisements again represented a bold step for Legend Fires' marketing strategy.

Sales of Blackburn-based Legend Fires products have rocketed since the news of their massive award win was broadcast less than six months ago.

Their first foray into television advertising proved to be massively successful, with a 50 percent increase in sales being reported by the Fireplace Warehouse. The Legend Fires brand has gone from being a relative unknown just seven years ago, to its current position as one of the UK's most respected heating products.

Managing director, John Stone commented: "The television commercial presents a fantastic opportunity for the Legend Fires brands to be seen once again by a great many prospective customers from right across the country. And we are hoping that this will continue to open up a number of new distribution areas, whilst once more reinforcing the quality message in our North West heartland.

The response to the first running of the television commercial has been very positive indeed. But I must say, we never doubted that one day the quality of our products would become renowned across the country, but we just didn't expect that they would feature on television alongside Coronation Street." he added.
