BOLTON, Salford and Trafford Mental Health NHS Trust -- which includes Prestwich Hospital -- has appointed a new member to the board.
Professor Karen Luker has been appointed for a four-year term as the university nominated non-executive director to the board, with responsibility for research.
As Dean of the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting at The University of Manchester, Professor Luker has previous non-executive experience at Ashworth Hospital Authority and the former Sefton FHSA.
