TRAFFIC calming measures are set to be introduced to a Ramsbottom street after residents raised safety concerns.
Bury Council is to carry out the work in Kay Brow and Railway Street in a bid to help cut accidents.
The scheme will include:
Give way carriageway markings and signs at the junction of Kay Brow with Bolton Street,
Two bend warning signs, one on Kay Brow west and one on Railway Street south,
Give way markings on all side road junctions.
A report is set to be discussed at Tuesday night's Ramsbottom and Tottington's area board meeting.
Councillors have been recommended to approve the traffic calming scheme at the meeting, to be held at Tottington Primary School, in Moorside Road, from 7pm.
