JUST eight months after taking up the sport, Daniel Greaves is heading for the top in trampolining.
Daniel, 11, of Pownall Street, Leigh, won the NW Regional Grade Three championships in trampolining and double mini tramp at the weekend and can now go on and compete at national level.
His first national event is this coming weekend in Northern Ireland where he intends to qualify for his final level.
If Daniel qualifies he can fight for a place in the British Championships to be staged in Birmingham on his 12th birthday in July.
His coach at the City of Liverpool Trampoline Club said: "It;s extremely unusual for anybody to get to such a high standard considering his road to trampoline stardom only began eight months ago."
