TWO East Lancashire millionaires have made it into the Sunrise Radio Asian Rich List 2004, the official index of the wealthiest Asians in Britain today.
Tahir Mohsan, of Burnley-based Time Computers, is valued at £70 million and still one of the youngest millionaires at just 32.
The elusive lottery winner Mohidin Muktar, who originated from Blackburn, has not been seen or heard of since his major £20 million win.
The publication, produced by the UK's largest Asian commercial radio station, Sunrise Radio, has been compiled by Philip Beresford, author of the Sunday Times Rich List, and identifies 300 of the UK's wealthiest Asians.
The list puts the combined wealth of Britain's rich Asians at an astounding £14.3 billion - an increase of £6 billion since last year.
Dr Avtar Lit, publisher of the list says: "The Asian Rich List 2004 highlights the success of the Asian community in the UK and their contribution to the local economy.
"These entrepreneurs have created enormous wealth for themselves, but also supported their local community by creating jobs and bringing in investment."
