EAST Lancashire civil servants caused chaos by going on strike to try and get a pay rise. More than 550 clerical staff at Blackburn Royal Ordnance Factory staged a walk-out in support of a wage claim.
Learner drivers who went to Blackburn's test centre were also told to go home because of an examiners' strike.
