RADCLIFFE'S smallest primary school has swept the board in the town's netball league championships.

The girls from the team at St Andrew's Primary School have played and won all of their seven matches against other schools in the area, and have now claimed the league title.

Having trained every week since the start of term with PE teacher Mrs Gill Ellis, the girls were well prepared to take on other year six teams.

Headteacher of the Graves Street school, Mrs Alwen Bowes, said: "The school is very pleased that the team has done so well. They train hard and play well. They were presented with a plaque for the team and each received a medal."
