A PRIMARY school trampolining team were jumping for joy after making it to the national championships.
The team of four girls from Chapelfield CP School in Radcliffe took part in the event at Corks Wood Leisure Centre in Birmingham, on Saturday.
Although the group were placed sixth overall, Tyler Tonge (10), Sherelle Fallon (9), Nicole Short (8) and Natasha Shirt (9), enjoyed the day.
The four, from the Clough Street school, train twice weekly at Castle Leisure Centre in Bury, and have been working hard to prepare for the competition.
Parent Mrs Sarah Tonge said: "They were a little disappointed but they came home with a medal. Just to get to the finals was fantastic and there is always next time."
