SUPERMARKET employees put on their betting hats for the night to make money for charity.
A race night was held at the Eagle and Child pub, in Higher Lane, Whitefield organised by Tesco in Prestwich.
Around 60 employees took part in the event, where they placed bets on horse races filmed on video, and raised £320 for Bury Hospice.
The Hospice is Tesco's nominated charity this year and employees are hoping to arrange further fun events in order to boost funds.
Organiser and social committee treasurer, Jo Owen said: "It was such a brilliant night, everyone enjoyed themselves. I want to say a big thank-you to the pub landlords Bob and Ann Banks".
