NORTH Lancashire Friends of the Earth Real Food Group wishes to thank everyone who signed its citizen's objection to the World Trade Organisation in Lancaster at the weekend.
It refers to the USA, Argentina and Canada having filed a legal dispute with the World Trade Organisation accusing Europe of creating a trade barrier by its refusal to import genetically modified food and crops.
If you wish to back the objection but were not in town on Saturday you can still sign on-line at www.bite-back.org.uk
Or if you need more information about the flawed science and lies told by the US government and industry re the safety of genetically modified foods, you may want to read 'Seeds of Deception' by Jeffery M Smith, published by Yes! Books and distributed by Chelsea Green Publishing.
Pat Salkeld, Morecambe.
