IN an article in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph on March 25 a story appeared in relation to six-year-old Sophie White from Shadsworth.
The story said that Sophie had an inoperable tumour and only had months to live.
We would like to make it clear that Sophie has undergone two operations, but is expected to make a full recovery.
The incorrect information was supplied to us by Asda.
We would like to apologise to Sophie's family for any distress caused.
