STUDENTS from a Rossendale school arranged and hosted a tourism conference for fellow pupils from schools across East Lancashire.
The year 13 Travel and Tourism students from Haslingden High School, hosted the Leisure and Tourism Conference as part of their Advance Vocational Certificate of Education coursework.
The event at the Clayton Business Park, Clayton-le-Moors attracted more than 190 GCSE pupils from 10 schools.
It was backed by organisations including Dunkenhalgh Hotel, The Health and Fitness Development and Holiday Hypermarket who all ran workshops for pupils.
