CHEESE pie was on the menu when the Mayor of Bury joined the pupils of Heaton Park Primary School for lunch.
The Mayor, Coun Wilf Davison and his wife Maureen, tucked into the snack before joining members of the school council for a meeting.
The school council youngsters invited Coun Davison to see their work after visiting the Mayor's parlour in Bury Town Hall last year.
He spent half an hour with them answering questions about his role as the borough's first citizen.
