FAMILY fun will be the theme of a street arts extravaganza being held in Atherton town centre this weekend.
Hot in Atherton, held on Saturday, will be the first day of Atherton Community festival which runs through all of next week.
Organised by Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust, the festival includes a community market, historical town trails, an open challenge bowling competition, a Lancashire Night, and children's and musical events.
People can also get their mobile phones and bicycles security marked for 50p from Leigh Crime Prevention Panel.
