CADETS from 316 Leigh Squadron went on parade - after being airlifted to camp by RAF helicopter.
They were flown from fields close to Hesketh Fletcher High School to their third camp at the Sea Cadet Training Centre, Inskip.
The camp started purely as a 316 Squadron event, but has grown to include cadets from Runcorn, Hoylake, Bury and Walton Squadrons and Sea Cadets from the north west area bands who provided entertainment before the main parade.
The review by Wing Commander N W G Laird, of the RAF OC 230 Squadron, followed the end of a busy weekend camp which saw the cadets take part in small bore shooting, Duke of Edinburgh Award bronze practise expeditions, land navigation and gliding induction exercises, abseiling, swimming, leadership exercises and drill.
They also took part in Operation Loyalty, a major fund raising event for RAF charities, and visited the police helicopter and fire section at Warton aerodrome.
