ATHERTON reader Arthur Westwood's no sports fan but despite that he's pleased that plans for the Leigh Sports Village are progressing.
His attitude is that anything that benefits the area must be welcomed, and he would love to see a multiplex cinema somewhere in the area.
Keen autograph hunter of decades, Arthur would love to be able to go to the movies again but, for anyone without a car, it's not that easy.
I'm sure many other readers would like to see a picture house back in the Leigh side of the borough -- along with other amenities. What have our towns lost that you would love to see back?
